Teaching Our Traditions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the practical skills, knowledge, and traditions that have been passed from one generation to the next.
We create hands-on educational opportunities that teach skills such as hunting and firearm safety, cooking and food preservation, gardening, sewing, outdoor skills, self-reliance, and other traditional skills worth keeping alive.
Our raffles aren’t just about winning great prizes. They’re a way to directly support the programs, equipment, materials, and educational opportunities that allow us to teach these skills to more people — especially the next generation.

Teaching Our Traditions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving generational knowledge and skills through hands-on activities and interactive experiences. Our programs equip children to learn traditional skills and practices while staying physically active. Participants not only gain valuable knowledge but also develop leadership skills, confidence, physical and mental resilience, and problem-solving abilities. We welcome children from diverse faiths, ethnicities, social, economic backgrounds, and physical abilities.
